On January 20, 21, and 22, Mélodie Cordeau, a youth member of the Youth+ Committee, and Sue-Ann Macdonald, researcher and member of the Steering Committee of the Coalition Jeunes+, flew to Santiago, Chile, to take part in an international symposium on homelessness.
This experience led to rich and inspiring exchanges, where participants were able to share their approaches, discuss their practices, and exchange views on the issues and challenges they face.
Mélodie and Sue-Ann had the opportunity to present the Youth Homelessness Prevention (PIJ) research project and its findings, while also highlighting the actions and work of the Coalition Jeunes+ before a diverse audience.
It was a unique opportunity to confront our realities, exchange perspectives, showcase our work, and most importantly, build connections with exceptional people from around the world. A valuable moment to draw inspiration from international initiatives, to express shared concern, and to stand in solidarity for a common goal: driving real change!
